Ex UFC fighter Che Mills came over to the post-16 sports course to give our young people a talk on his fighting career and his experiences within the industry.

Our post-16 Outdoor Education course had a very welcomed visit from the environmental agency who kindly granted them a boat and fishing equipment for the lakes!
We were very happy to welcome them onto the land and we are very grateful for all the equipment!

Through cooking kids learn independence, teamwork-and how to be safe, confident and responsible in the kitchen and beyond!

Semi-Pro E-Sports gamer Kieran Thorley visited our post-16 E-Sports course to chat all things gaming, his career in the industry and also discussing potential career oppurtunities too!

We were very lucky to have Jim Hart come and speak to our post-16 sports students delivering an inspiring engaging session focused on trust, hope and personal resilience!

The Grinch paid a visit to the hub this week, giving the young people a Christmas trail to try and retrace his steps!

This week we all took a trip down to Gloucester Cathedral to have a talk about the history of our city’s most amazing landmark as well as undergoing some Christmas themed activities too!

The decorations are up at the hub as we countdown to Christmas day!

Our young people took a trip to SkillZone recently to learn all things safety at their amazing interactive site in Gloucester!

Movember is all about raising awareness for men’s mental health, and here at TMS we believe that it is very important that take some time to educate our young people as well as time to allow them to speak and give their thoughts and feelings around the topic. Men’s Mental Health Matters!

Due to our amazing work fundraising for BBC Children In Need, we had a visit from a very special bear at the hub! Pudsey Bear came down to play some of our games and to meet the young people on what was a special day for all involved at TMS!

Our sports course took a stroll over to the magnificent Gloucester Cathedral to take part in the Remembrance Day service. It is very important that we never forget those who have fought and are still fighting for our country. We will never forget them.

Enjoying the great outdoors and some furry company too

It was great to visit our local bus depot recently and explore all the ongoings around how the buses in our city are ran! Thank you to Stagecoach Gloucester for having us!

Our YP’s and mentors all dressed up and walked down our makeshift catwalk showing off their spooky look!

Our tents and fences are up and the kettle is on; we then paid a visit just around the corner to our lovely neighbouring donkeys!
Our students are on the land and are already making advancements thick and fast, it is so exciting to see it coming along so nicely!

Yesterday we put on a yoga session which everyone took part in!
It was a great way to get active and to get our bodies moving for the day!

It was great to be back at the unit today for some staff training covering areas including safeguarding and neurodivergence!
Big thank you to CAHMS for coming in this afternoon and giving our staff vital information surrounding neurodiversity!
We are glad to be back and we cannot wait for our young people to be back too!

Enrichment week is well and truly underway at TMS with a carnival day at the unit!
Our young people enjoyed playing traditional carnival games whilst also having a visit from Mr Whippy Gloucester!

Our Post-16 Sports group enjoyed a kayaking trip last week! ‍ ‍
As we end the academic year our students had some fun on the lake as well as soaking up the amazing weather we have had as of late! ☀️

Today some of our young people experienced the magic of the Toddington Railway Station!
Our young people explored, learned and loved every minute of the journey!

Yesterday we held our TMS Post 16 Sports Course awards ceremony! All of our students picked up their qualifications that they had earned in what was a great occasion for parents and students to enjoy.
